Cycleland was the start for many drivers who compete on the World of Outlaws 410-sprint car series, as well as NASCAR driver Kyle Larson. It is also the home of a motocross track and was formerly the home of motorcycle races dating back to 1963. She wanted to give back to Cyceland owner Lowell Moural, who has been at the helm for 35 years and has trouble accepting help on the track in his backyard.Įach Saturday at Cycleland, outlaw kart races are held at the 1/8 mile clay track. Fowler grew up at Cycleland and met her future husband at the racetrack as a youth and saw a need. This year, the idea to give back to the local business and give a facelift to a place where many racing fans come each weekend was brought up by realtor Leanne Fowler, who races along with her family at Cycleland Speedway in Oroville. Past years projects have included painting and potting flowers in downtown Chico, and assisting at the Jesus Center and at the Butte Humane Society amongst others. Over the last two years local businesses have struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year the RED Day committee from the Keller Williams office in Chico decided it wanted to give back to a local business. Anderson is the former CEO and current vice chairman of the board for Keller Wiliams Reality.


The day is called RED Day - which stands for renew, energize and donate - and celebrates Mo Anderson’s birthday by spending the day away from their business serving their communities.
